Super excited tonight!!
A month or so back I got an email from one of the editors at favecrafts.com asking if I was interested in having one or more of my free patterns published on their site. The answer...an obvious YES! :)
I was so excited, since my blog is relatively new and is a means for me to share my love of crafting with my family, friends, and other fabulous crafters out there. I feel very lucky to be asked to be featured on there site.
You can check out my bio page here
The two patterns featured are
This week we have been working on a lot of science and history mini projects as well as working on a lap book for The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. I will be sharing that as soon as Victoria completes it. This is her first lap booking project and I didn't know how she would take to it. She seems to be keeping it pretty simple.....which is unlike her if you saw her room with drawings, crafts, and colors galore. lol I have to say, the lap booking is a nice fresh change from just answering questions each chapter. I think that interacting with the book, def. makes it come more alive for her, which as a mom, is wonderful to watch.
I am also working on a new pattern.....well patterns really for my shop. I am finishing up perfecting a hat pattern that will be available in women's, child, toddler, and baby sizes. I love how adorable they are all coming out. Its a spring/fall lightweight hat that I am using a wonderful soft bamboo blend yarn to create each piece. Can't wait to share it with you later this week! :) These matching hats would def make a great photo prop for Easter and Mother's Day photos this year. Victoria and I will be wearing ours for our family photos this year, she is so excited to have a matching hat with me. Adorableness ....I swear the kids just radiates it. :)
Oh I'm so happy for you !!!! you deserve it :-)
